Every material claim on this site comes from one place: the specification of the products we actually sell, checked against the print house's own catalog. If a fact is not confirmed there, we do not say it. This page is that list, format by format, plus the things you will notice we never claim.
Framed fine art prints
Each piece is printed on 200 gsm enhanced uncoated fine art paper with a twelve-color pigment process, which holds a wider tonal range than ordinary four-color printing. The print is mounted and set behind shatter-resistant acrylic in a 22 mm deep frame — solid wood in white, natural or dark, or aluminum in black. It arrives assembled, hardware fitted.

Framed prints
Printed on 200 gsm poster stock and mounted behind shatter-resistant acrylic in a 22 mm deep pine frame, available in black, white, natural or dark wood. The poster is fitted into the frame before it ships, so it arrives assembled with hanging hardware in place, ready for a portrait or landscape wall.

Stretched canvas
The canvas is stretched over a 2 cm deep bar of FSC-certified wood, with the image continuing around the sides so no frame is needed. It arrives taut, finished and fitted with its mounting kit — nothing to assemble and nothing to glaze. Hang it straight from the box, portrait or landscape.

Unframed posters
Printed on 200 gsm coated silk stock, a heavyweight paper with a soft sheen that lifts the color without the glare of full gloss. The poster ships on its own, unframed and unmounted, sized for a standard frame of your choosing — or pin it straight to the wall.

Brushed aluminum prints
The image is printed straight onto a 3 mm brushed silver aluminum panel, so the brushed grain shows through the lighter tones and the surface stays matte and glare-free. There is no paper and no glass. A float mount fitted behind holds the panel a little off the wall. Hanging hardware included.

Where it is made
Each order is routed to the print partner closest to the delivery address, which for our US customers means every piece is printed and framed, stretched or mounted in the USA and shipped domestically with tracking. Production takes 1–2 business days and delivery 2–5 business days after that, so plan on 3–7 business days door to door.
What we do not claim
You will not find the words archival, museum-grade, 100-year, certificate of authenticity, cotton rag or a named wood species on our product pages, because the print house does not certify them for the stock we use. Posters are described as posters: they ship unframed and are not ready to hang. Canvas has no glazing and no frame. The black fine-art frame is aluminum, not wood. When a fact is unverified we leave it out rather than guess.
If it arrives damaged
Send a photo to support@canvasofamerica.com within 7 days of delivery and we send a free replacement or a full refund. Because every piece is made to order, change-of-mind returns are not accepted.
